A few details help us get you the right resolution faster, though none of them change whether you’re covered: whether the reaction is where the metal touches skin directly or more broadly, whether it started right away or after wearing the piece for a while (which can also point to soap, lotion, or sweat buildup rather than the metal itself), and whether it’s one specific piece or Stylr jewelry generally. A real person on our team replies within one business day and works with you on a resolution: a replacement, store credit, or a refund, depending on your case.
Why reactions are uncommon, but not impossible
Many Stylr pieces are made from 316L surgical stainless steel, which is hypoallergenic and releases very little nickel — but it isn’t nickel-free, since 316L does contain bound nickel, and other pieces in the catalog use different base metals and finishes. If you have a diagnosed metal sensitivity, check the product page for the listed base metal before ordering, and contact us first if it isn’t listed — we’d rather help you pick the right piece than have you deal with a reaction after the fact.
