One thing worth knowing: a jeweler can sometimes stretch or cut down a solid-gold ring, but 316L surgical stainless steel can’t be resized that way — the steel is much harder than solid gold, so it can’t be stretched or cut down. That’s not a downside (it’s the same hardness that makes the metal so durable and tarnish-resistant); it just means the right fix for a sizing miss is a size exchange, not a resize.
