Buying a ring as a surprise? A few ways to estimate without giving it away:
- Borrow a ring they already wear on that finger and measure its inside diameter in millimeters — the most reliable trick.
- Ask a close friend or family member who might quietly know their size.
- If you have nothing to go on, women’s rings most often land around a US 6–7 — a reasonable midpoint to start from.
