The problem we’re solving

Founder Lisa Chen started out making and selling handmade jewelry on Etsy before building Stylr. Her read on the market: “demi-fine” gold-plated brands often charge $80–150 for vermeil that wears through in months, “stainless steel” brands quote alloy specs without explaining what they mean for you, and almost nobody tells you plainly what’s underneath the gold. Stylr’s house line — gold-plated stainless steel — is our answer to that gap, alongside other styles in the catalog that use different disclosed base metals, finishes, and stones.

What that means for you

  • Built for real life. Our test for a piece is whether it holds up through a shower, sweat, and an ocean swim, since most plated jewelry can’t. If it can’t pass that, we don’t carry it.
  • Honest about materials. Each product page states the base metal, finish, stones, and care needs for that specific style — we don’t make blanket “waterproof” or “nickel-free” claims across the whole catalog, because materials vary by piece.
  • Backed, concretely. Who’s behind it

Stylr operates as NOIQUE CO. LLC. Manufacturing partners make the pieces; Lisa Chen curates the collection, sets the standard for what gets carried, and reviews the material and care guidance published on the site. If a return policy or a marketing claim wouldn’t survive a close reading, the goal is to not make it in the first place.
