Stylr pieces are made to be worn every day — they’re waterproof and won’t tarnish. A little care just keeps the gold tone looking its brightest for as long as possible.
The simple routine
- Put it on last. Apply lotion, perfume, sunscreen, and hairspray first, let them dry, then put your jewelry on. These products are the most common cause of dulling on any plated jewelry.
- Wipe it down now and then. A soft, dry (or barely damp) cloth removes oils and buildup. No harsh chemicals, polishes, or ultrasonic cleaners needed.
- Store it dry and separate. Keep pieces in a pouch or a lined box so they don’t rub against each other. A dry spot away from heat is ideal.
Water, sweat, and swimming
You don’t need to take Stylr off to wash your hands, shower, or work out. After swimming in a pool or the ocean, it’s worth a quick rinse with fresh water — chlorine and salt are hard on any jewelry over time, and a rinse keeps yours looking new. What not to do
- Don’t use abrasive cleaners, toothpaste, or polishing cloths meant for solid gold or silver — they can wear the plating.
- Don’t soak pieces in jewelry-cleaning solutions.
